I would think that the name of the organization is Homura rather that Homra. In the official trailer for the anime, it was written and pronounced as Homura by an (apparent) English speaking character. While the manga "K: Memory of Red" refers to it as Homra in the translation, that could simply be a mistake on the translator's part. It's not uncommon so there's not much reason to doubt this, if you ask me. Glass Heart (GHeart) 23:44,9/27/2012
- I've been wondering the same thing too when I first heard that, I wasn't too sure if it was "Homra" so I did some research and I found out the correct name is "Homura" (ほむら) meaning "Flame" going by the groups flame aura. White Flash (議論 | 貢献) 00:17, September 28, 2012 (UTC)
- I believe the correct one is HOMRA. It's not based on an English speaking character (in the anime, as the pronounciation is merely due to how a Japanese / English person would speak), or as by the way it means as literally "flame". If you refer to the official K Anime Facebook page, you can see that the name of the group HOMRA is just the same as the name of the bar the Red Clan operates. Recent information seems to imply that the name of the gang is HOMRA. The official website refers to it as such on one page with English lettering while everything else is in kanji.

Took me a while to think about it, though I think I've made up my mind. My support goes to HOMRA. Yes, I know that a while back I opened up the same discussion regarding this matter and voted for the current name, Homura. Right now, it's a feud between Homura and HOMRA. HOMRA is the bar's name, so I assume the clan's name was taken from that or the other way around. Anyway, it seems it's just a misunderstanding, HOMRA is pronounced as Homura in Japanese like what the guy said in episode 1. I'm going with "HOMRA" since it's the name of their headquarters and in the opening it's written as "HOMRA". Remnant13 Talk 08:13,11/12/2012

Regarding Saruhiko Fushimi's status among the members of the Red Clan, I believe it would be best to change it from Betrayed to Renounced, Repudiated or any other since it might give a more accurate implication as the attributive verbs of Betrayed would imply that he was betrayed by another rather than he betrayed the Clan himself.
In a sentence, when these attributive verbs are used, "Saru's status was betrayed" would mean he was betrayed while "Saru's status was renounced" would mean either he gave up the title himself through any means or his status was revoked by another member, covering a wider range of possibilities and implications.

- Fushimi was stated to have betrayed Homura and left. That is the most information we have on the subject. Until it is elaborated upon, leaving it as "Betrayed" would be best for now. I doubt that anyone would have some confusion about who betrayed who.
