Alright, so this forum was created so as to decide whether or not we should use GIFs on our articles as we have users who believe we should and believe we shouldn't.

Some things in anime are more complex than others, techniques are among them, and they take a little bit of demonstration. GIFs are great for that since they can show the motion.

As far as quality goes, GIFs are good preserving transparency through the motion. Since the K anime is quite bright and fluid, the GIFs, assuming they're made properly, would be quite good. GIFs use compression so you won't see the kinds of problems that appear on a JPG image.

Also, as far as I know, a GIF runs on all web browsers.
